**Services in models** links two reference books — [models](https://workpan.com/en/doc/spravochnik-modelej/) and [services](https://workpan.com/en/doc/spravochnik-uslug/). The section defines which repair types are available for a particular model and at what price they are offered to the client.

Without that link the front desk would have to remember the price of a glass replacement on every model. With it, the price is filled into the [order](https://workpan.com/en/doc/sozdanie-novoy-zayavki/) automatically.

You can reach the **“Services in models”** section:

- [Control panel](https://workpan.com/en/doc/control-panel/) → System → Services in models
- Quick access menu → System → Services in models

#### How the section works

Work starts from the model: you choose a device model and add services to it from the [services reference book](https://workpan.com/en/doc/spravochnik-uslug/), with the price for that model. Services that do not apply are removed from the list, and prices are edited as the price list changes.

The service itself stays shared: editing its name in the services reference book is reflected in every model, while the price is specific to each model.

#### Why it is needed

- When [creating an order](https://workpan.com/en/doc/sozdanie-novoy-zayavki/), the front desk sees only the work that is actually done on this model.
- The price is filled in automatically — fewer discrepancies between branches and fewer arguments with the client.
- The price list is edited in one place instead of in every order.
